Bio-

Name - Thamyris Records (sounds weird but it suits him a little, in my mind)
Nickname - Hammy
Parents - unknown
Cutie mark - a record with a crack in it besides a blue music note
Talent - Coaching all musicians how to improve or correct their songs
- the broken record represents the music of his students and the note on it represents that it can still play music

Personality - He is rather shy but honest pony, he dislikes being angry so he spends all his time being cheerful and kind to everypony, even when they hurt him. He has a habit of getting nervous and starts stuttering when he meets other ponies (mainly mares).

Background - Because of how he looks when he was young his mother left him on the door step of an orphanage, the only item he holds dear to him is the sheet of music his mother left with him. As he grew up he was often bullied by the other orphans and he was never adopted because of how he looked, since everypony either didn't talk to him or was mean to him, he never learnt how to make friends and was extremely shy when meeting others. He spent most of his childhood attending a music school, so he could learn how to play musical instruments so he could play the music piece his mother left with him, in hopes that his mother could find him and take him back, but unfortunately he was terrible at all instruments and his mentor later gave up on him. One day a pony was attempting to play a new song but was struggling so he began to talk to the other pony about how to play the piece correctly, after a short time the pony began to play beautifully and Thamyris gained his cutie mark, after that he began to start teaching foals how to play different types of music, whether it was classical or rock, his sensitive ears picked up on the little things that every other pony couldn't hear. After sometime Thamyris decided to not dwell on his past and began to open up a small music school dedicated to teaching anypony how to improve their music skills.

other little things -
- his ears are really sensitive, hence why he dislikes huge parties or ponies shouting
- when he isn't teaching, he still tries to play music
- he gets flustered when ponies take his glasses off


aaaannd that's everything i made up for him... geeeeezzz i really want to win him, he's just so amazing that i could just die... but i'm not going to! If i don't win then this art can be for the person that does

Okay, I seriously can't stop thinking about him... I've been thinking about him so much that I decided to keep his original parents but add a little more backstory

Discord was summoned by Octavia and Vinyl to help them have a foal (this was the first time discord had ever done something like this), anyway he used both of octavias and vinyls DNA and was able to create two eggs, both containing two foals, one being Thamyris and the other being his "brother". The couple looked after the eggs until one day they both got into a fight that tore their relationship apart, Octavia took the egg containing Thamyris and left the other with Vinyl. The eggs hatched and two colts were born, one looked like Octavia while the other looked like a mix of Vinyl and discord, because of how Thamyris reminded Octavia of the one she loved, she left him at an orphanage.
